CASHBACK & BENEFITS

How are my benefits calculated?

Your benefits are determined by the amount of fuel (Diesel) dispensed into your vehicle/s (registered for the programme), which is recorded onto your card/tags. The difference between the card/tag pricing (zone-specific) and the displayed pump price will be reimbursed to you.

How can I view my savings?

How do I receive my cashback?

Your cashback will automatically be credited to your BT FUEL account on the 15th of the new month.

Is there a limit on the cashback amount?

No. The cashback is based on the amount of litres of fuel you purchase.

When do I receive my cashback?

Your cashback will automatically be credited to your BT FUEL account on the 15th of the new month.

Why does my cashback per litre differ from station to station?

Your cashback per litre is dependent on the difference between the wholesale price per litre of diesel, (which is the price that the service station is purchasing diesel at) and the pump price per litre of diesel (which is the price that the service station has decided to sell diesel at).

Why does the price of diesel differ from service station to service station while the price of petrol remains the same?

Petrol is a regulated product in South Africa. This means that the price of petrol within a particular fuel zone will be the same across all service stations within that stipulated zone. By law petrol may not be discounted.

Diesel is not regulated in South Africa and discounts or rebates are permitted, therefore the price per litre is left to the discretion of the service station. This results in varying diesel prices from service station to service station.
